You know you're right about number 2 and I can attest to that. Qualification alone will not help you. Even if there's five of us who got accepted and started at the same dates. Only two of us got promoted. And I think it's because only the two of us pushed ourselves to the limit among us five and that pave the way for our higher ups to see what we're capable of and get the promotion all the way through.

Yeah even if you have all the degrees in the world, if you don't have it in you to take what it takes to be the best in the field where you are in, I don't think you'd be receiving any kind of promotion about it just the same. The graph for the career planning guide shared to us by Arindam also sums up a lot of things that we all have to keep in mind about getting our selves promoted in our jobs.

Most people who wants to get promoted always forget one of the important things they should consider when they're aiming for one which is to discuss with their senior about the possibility of their promotion. They never communicate with their higher ups to know exactly what should they do or change for them to get a promotion.

Being a good team player is has always worked for me in getting promotions to some companies I've been with. It just takes a little bit of courage for us to cope up with other people in our workplace. Understanding them really helps more on how we can learn the nature of our job and how can we be more productive in it.

I agree with this. It has been a common misconcepcion for a lot of people that once they graduate whether they're from a prestigious school or not, they're going to land in a job they're applying for. The same reasoning happens when they're already in a job. They never think of pushing themselves more to be productive.

In my opinion, number three is the most important thing that we should all learn from here. It's having a strong belief in yourself. This should really be the first one where we must put our attention on. I like the way how you also talked about taking strategic risks. Without self confidence, most people would really remain with their inferiority complex. We all have lots of potentials for ourselves.

I've just started my call center job this January and I think the lessons in here can really help me achieve a promotion earlier if I put all of this into action. We do have lots of potentials for ourselves. Getting out all those potentials is what's been troublesome. Thank you for sharing everything as well as the video of Leila.
